Another Day at the Mill

Well, its been a very long day - A good start to my day was an 8 o'clock class this morning. Which was taught by probably the loudest, most expressive prof I have ever heard! But I am taking a little break between classes to release my mind from all of the knowledge that was crammed into it today.

Yesterday was a short, but sweet day. I got to sleep in!!! Only had one class, and it was pretty interesting. After class, I had the priveledge of going to Inextreme. For all of you who dont know what that is, it is the college and careers group at Northview Community Church. But it was so dang good! I met a couple of electricians and CBC students, and then we sang some worship. Then we had this guy speak - his name was Bindu Sihdu, and he spoke about boarding the plane! Meaning that it is one thing to have the faith to enter the gate and check in our luggage, but it is another to ACTUALLY have the faith to step onto the plane! It was cool, and I cant explain the whole sermon, but it definately made me think about a lot. Then after he was finished he gave us boarding passes! They were really cool, cuz they were a reminder for us to keep persuing our faith in God.

So one thing that I learned yesterday (from one of the electricians actually.. but he doesnt know it) is that I need to give to God everything! That means even my life! That I should be completely 100% devoted to God! And in that, means that I should stop complaining about having to read so many books, and write so many papers. Why? Because When I gave my life over to Christ, I said I would be a follower, and to be a follower I also need to devote my time to learning more about God and who He is! And God has shown me that I can grow deeper in my walk with Him by having a desire to learn more!

That is all for today. Im going to go put ice on my middle finger - it's still a little purple from Tuesday evening!
