Do you have any cassette tapes?

Umm.. Dang it... I just wrote like the longest blog ever, and then it erased on me! So here we go again...

man, I really don't want to go into detail again... so you guys will have to suck it up today! Ask me for details later :P

Okay, so Saturday morning was nuts. I had stayed over at Heather's house and we had to get up early so that Andrea and I could run some errands before it was time to leave for our big adventure! The first thing we had to do was to go to my sister's house and trade vehicles with her. Now I know what ya'll are thinking... my Toyota is amazing.. However, the probability of it making the trip to Manning park and back was very slim, and so I did not want to take the chance. UNFORTUNATELY... her little white hatchback did not have a good sound system... you see - it only had a tape player. Yes, that is right.. they still have those!

The trip up to Manning park wasnt so bad. I mean, we avoided using the tape player as much as possible until the radio stopped working... so we busted out the OLD 80's country tapes and sang along. The first few tapes were not bad.. but then it just got plain ole' annoying. So by the time we got to Hope, we decided to stop at a gas station and buy a new cassette tape to listen to. The first place we went to didnt sell them anymore, and neither did the second. In fact, NONE of of the places we went to had them... it was so unfortunate. I really thought that gas stations still sold them. I was so dang disappointed.. but that all ended when I saw the snow!

We went up the the mountain as far as we could, then played in the snow for hours. I practically hurled myself down a mountain side! That was so fun, except for the fact that it was absolute torture to climb up the mountain... so I only did that once! The trip back ended us up at the Bartsch's house for dinner! Good food and good laughs all around. We ended up staying there until about 1:30am watching movies! Haha.. we first watched Anapolis and then the Scarlet Pimpernel ... and in between, we listened to Kenny and Ryley's childhood stories!

Sunday was a good day too. I was so tired from Saturday night that I acutally slept through the entire sermon at church. I felt like the biggest jerk, because it was such a good one! This guy from Texas was speaking. After church, my mom dragged me around shopping for shelving... that is probably the MOST boring thing you could shop for.. correct me if you know something more boring than this. The afternoon saw me watching the Grey Cup in my very own living room. I am almost proud to say that it is the first football game that I have watched since last year's grey cup! Funny how that happens when you are a girl and practically uninterested in sports.

Tonight was fun tho. Danielle came over and we all went out for dinner (my family and some others), then I searched my room for old tapes to cruise to! I found Dance Mix 95' ... not sure if any of you guys have it.. but its basically the most amazing tape ever! I used to listen to it when I was a young hip elementary schooler. So we cruised town to this tape and totally rocked out like we were on Night at the Roxbury . Good times. Now I am tired. The picture at the top is of the random hill that i hurled myself down, the other picture that i tried to post is of this amazing sign that I saw in Hope that says "No Golfing"... who thinks of golfing in the middle of a town in a small field at an elementary school? Well take care ya'll!

Cassettes as in cassette tapes? If so you've asked the right person.

Wait. Do you mean music? Because I can't help you there.

I have books on tape. Then again, you can always find those in the public library...
